Craig Chappell DO, CAQSM, RMSK

owner, medical director

Dr. Craig Chappell is the owner and director of in2it Medical. He graduated from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY. He then completed a Family Practice residency at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, OH, followed by a fellowship in Neuromusculoskeletal & Osteopathic Manual Medicine (NMM/OMM) and a second fellowship in Sports Medicine. He is triple-board certified in Family Practice, NMM/OMM, and Sports Medicine. Additionally, he is certified in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) as well as Interventional Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine.

Prior to opening his own practice, Dr. Chappell was the medical director of Functional Health and Sports Medicine in Ocala, FL following his time working for Ohio University in Athens, OH where he served in multiple capacities as assistant professor of Family Medicine, medical director of the Professional Athletic Training Program, and team physician for the University’s football team.

Hawkins Mecham, DO

Dr. Mecham treats patients at in2it Medical with a focus on the specialty of osteopathic manual medicine. He is a graduate of Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his intern year at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport, New York prior to completing a residency in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. Dr. Mecham is board certified in Neuromusculoskeletal & Osteopathic Manual Medicine and has several years of experience working in medical education. Prior to his current work as faculty for Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine in Provo, UT, he also worked as an adjunct instructor at Rocky Vista University in Ivins, UT.

Dr. Mecham has a great understanding of the body’s innate ability to heal, rejuvenate, and thrive, which makes him a great addition to our team at in2it Medical.
