Dr. Craig Chappell
Dr. Craig Chappell DO, CAQSM, RMSK, IROM-C is the owner and director of In2it Medical. Dr. Chappell is a graduate of Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY. He completed a Family Practice residency at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens, OH. Following his residency, Dr. Chappell went on to complete two fellowships – one in Neuromusculoskeletal / Osteopathic Manual Medicine and one in Sports Medicine. He is triple board certified in Family Practice, Osteopathic Manual Medicine/Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, and Sports Medicine. Additionally, he is certified in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound as well as Interventional Regenerative Orthopaedic Medicine.
Prior to opening his own practice, Dr. Chappell was the medical director of Functional Health and Sports Medicine in Ocala, FL. He also worked for Ohio University in Athens, OH, serving in multiple capacities as assistant professor of Family Medicine, medical director of the Professional Athletic Training Program, and team physician for the University’s football team.
In addition to running his medical practice, Dr. Chappell also teaches regenerative injection techniques and diagnostic/therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound both nationally and internationally with the Hackett/Hemwall Foundation, AAOM, and Gulf Coast Ultrasound.
Outside of his busy clinic and teaching schedule, Dr. Chappell enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys.
Dr. Christopher Edwards
Christopher Edwards DO, is a graduate of Des Moines University of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his intern year at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO and residency in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (NMM) at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. Dr. Edwards worked as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, MO for two years and is now working as an Assistant Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at Rocky Vista University in Ivins, Utah. When he is not teaching or treating patients, he loves to spend time with his wife and three daughters; they especially love to be outdoors, exploring the geology of Southern Utah.
Michael Nelson Pa-C
Michael Nelson graduated from Idaho State University (ISU) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology 2006, and a Master in Physician Assistant studies from the ISU Physician Assistant Program in 2008. He earned a Doctor of Health Sciences degree with an emphasis in Leadership and Organizational Behavior from A.T. Still University in 2015. His clinical experience is in primary care, urgent care medicine, orthopedics, and spine surgery. Michael also assisted in founding, and is now the Program Director of the PA program at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) in Provo, UT. He enjoys clinical practice and continues to see patients one day a week at In2it Medical.
Jennifer Shumway is the practice manager for In2it Medical. She has over fifteen years of experience in medical practice management and has worked in various fields including chiropractic, integrative medicine, addiction management, and neurology prior to joining the team at In2it Medical. She graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, but had already found a love for working in the medical field before graduating, so she continued to pursue her career in healthcare management. When she is not working in the office, Jenn is busy at home as a mother of four young children.
Lu is our administrative assistant and has been here a little over 2 years. She is currently studying at Utah Valley University in Exercise Science working on her bachelor’s degree. She likes to spends her time outdoors with her husband, Dylan and pup, Soren.
Amanda is the clinical supervisor here at In2it. She’s been working here for over 2 years. She graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and is currently applying to PA school! When she is isn’t at work, Amanda spends her time with her husband, Kyle traveling the states.
Danielle is our certified and licensed athletic trainer. She received her Master's Degree in Athletic Training from Weber State University where she worked in various settings including physical therapy clinics, high schools and medical clinics. She has had a love for medicine as long as she can remember and fell in love with sports medicine and athletic training after experiencing her own sports injury. In her free time she spends her time with her fiance riding dirt bikes and playing with their cat and dog, Kora and Koda.
